Mr Giggles

Hi my name is Dean Cochrane, (that is me with the Guitar). Or Mr Giggles! Which is what my Mummy nicknamed me because I am always laughing!!

I am 8 years old and have Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy and cannot speak.

A few years ago the wonderful people of my home town of Shotts raised a lot of money to send me to Florida for therapy.

This therapy released my left hand and now I can use my left hand a lot better than before. I can now have limited use of my computer. This has enabled me to communicate using a talking machine, (a bit like Professor Steven Hawkins...lol).

My Mummy and Daddy know that I could benefit from another 4 week session at therapies4kids

Therapies4kids keep in touch with us on a regular basis, they know we need to fundraise for my therapy and have offered us 80 hours of therapy for the price of 70.

I must tell people that therapies4kids is a non profit making organisation.

The cost of the Therapy is $10,000 (US) about £7000. Then we need Accommodation costs and car hire, (this needs to be a Wheelchair adapted vehicle, so a little more expensive than normal car hire, about $2,500 for 4 weeks.) oh and I nearly forgot the Flights.

So, our initial target will need to be about £15,000
